Our dedicated service staff is proud to deliver the type of service that they would demand for their own home or business. Planned service inspections reduce the number of emergency calls by revealing potential problems that can be corrected inexpensively before causing major bill repairs. At Steve Basso Plumbing, Heating & A/C we offer maintenance service plans for gas furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, oil boilers and furnaces, and residential plumbing systems.
Plan A (Gas Furnace/Boiler)
- Clean and adjust automatic controls
- Clean burners
- Adjust for optimum fuel efficiency
- Lubricate as needed
- Test for combustion leaks
- Test safety shutoff response
- Check blower belt wear, tension and alignment
- Check air filter
- Check flue for satisfactory operation
- Any repairs needed to the furnace/boiler will be at an additional cost at our value rate pricing.
- Service charge waived during normal business hours.
Plan B (Air Conditioner)
- Clean condenser with water
- Check electrical connections for tightness
- Adjust system for optimum cooling
- Check for oil and refrigerant leaks
- Check safety devices
- Check blower belt wear, tension and alignment
- Check expansion valve and coil temperatures
- Check air filer
- Check refrigerant level
- Lubricate as needed
- Check condenser drain
- Any repairs needed to the furnace/boiler will be at an additional cost at our value rate pricing.
- Service charge waived during normal business hours.
Plan C (Heat Pump)
- Lubricate as needed
- Check defrost cycle and reversing valve operation
- Adjust air volume for maximum efficiency
- Check safety devices and electrical connections for tightness
- Check blower belt wear, tension and alignment
- Check for oil and refrigerant leaks
- Test electrical controls for proper operation
- Check refrigerant level
- Check refrigerant controls and coil temperature for maximum efficiency
- Check air filer
- Check condenser drain
- Any repairs needed to the furnace/boiler will be at an additional cost at our value rate pricing.

Plan D (Oil Furnace/Boiler)
- Boiler Cleaning
- Replace Oil Filter
- Replace Pump Strainer
- Replace Oil Nozzle
- Replace Air Filter
- Inspect Smoke Pipe
- Inspect Boiler Sections
- Inspect Operation of Zone Valves/Controls
- Inspect Oil Circulation Pumps
- Test Burner Controls
- Test Thermostat Operations
- Check Blower Belt for wear
- Perform Combustion test to ensure peak efficiency

Plumbing Service Plan
- Clean Burner Assembly On Gas Water Heater
- Visually Check T&P Valve and Smoke Pipe On Water Heater
- Check T-Stat on Electric Heater and Adjust if Necessary
- Check Kitchen Faucet For Leaks and Corrosion
- Clean Aerators on All Faucets
- Check Toilets For Any Leaks and Proper Flushing Action
- Adjust Water Measuring Device on Toilet if Necessary
- Test all Emergency Shut off Valves For Sinks and Toilets
- Tag Main Water Shut-off
- Visually inspect Gas Connectors For all Appliances
- Tighten any loose faucet Handle Or Packing Unit
- Any repairs needed to the furnace/boiler will be at an additional cost at our value rate pricing.
